Touch Of Fire was a career debut winner, posting a seven-length margin at Fair Grounds in early January 2026. His performance earned him a TDN 'Rising Star' tag. He returned to Fair Grounds for his next run in the Black Gold Stakes where he claimed the runner-up spot and hist first bit of blacktype.
His next run saw him return to allowance company at Keeneland where, racing back from the pace, he made his challenge up the stretch to win by a neck. Touch Of Fire's stakes breakthrough came in the Listed Audubon Stakes at Churchill Downs at the end of May with an authoritative three-length victory.
